Halloween

A message beebs on Ken’s phone and he reads it. He sounds really glad when he tells Kaarna the good news:
- We are invited to Taika’s Halloween party!
- Taika? The redhead from Helsinki? Halloween? We don’t do Halloween. I’m not going.

- Oh yes you are. I will let you design our costumes!
- Costumes?! Is it a costume party!? Then I’m in!

Kaarna has finally managed to finish the calendar and she’s ready to send it to the printing house. 👉🏻 If your dolls want to get one, you can download the pdf file free from Ken’s blog site. The link is in the bio and in the stories.

Kaarna has gone through Ken’s wardrobe and carries a huge pile of fabric to Ken:
- Here, I found a Halloween costume for you. We only have to make something for me.

- Aww, this is my Cinderella dress! Do I get to be a princess!?
- Or a queen. It’s up to you.

Ken continues with enthusiasm:
- I love this dress. It was a lot of work to do and I never have a reason to wear this. Thanks, Kaarna! I was sure you’d come up with something gross since it’s Halloween. What will you be, a king?

Then Kaarna shows Ken a sketch and says:
- Nope! I will be wearing a skirt too!
- Wow! And ouch…

Ken takes way too much space when wearing the princess costume and since the dress won’t fit in any bags either, the public transportation is out of the question. Ken and Kaarna will have to drive to Helsinki despite of the ridicilous gas prices.
- I hope Taika lives in a big home, Ken laughs.

Mari has brought some furniture to her new apartment and it’s starting to become a home.

Now she needs Kaarna’s help with all the ”men’s work”.

After hanging a couple of paintings up on the walls, Kaarna takes a place on the sofa, leans back, shoves her hands into her pants and says:
- Make supper, woman!

Mari giggles:
- I can’t, dearest hubby. The kitchen hasn’t arrived yet. But may I serve you some especially hot and juicy dessert on the new tatami floor upstairs?

Then she runs to the stairs and Kaarna rushes after her.

- Wow, some railings would be useful!

Ken and Kaarna have started their trip to Taika’s Halloween party (@taikatuuliadoll). They stop at a gas station in order to change into their costumes in the restrooms.

But when Ken opens the back door of the van, an empty liquor bottle drops out and rolls between their feet.
- What the…?

Suddenly the pile of Ken’s dresses moves and Muija crawls out!
- Who’s letting the cold in? she slurs.

Kaarna screams and immediately slams the door shut.
- We can’t take her to the party! She will ruin it! And she doesn’t have a costume either!
Ken is confused. What to do now? They can’t leave Muija in the van. Or kick her out in the street, since they are 250 km from home. How did she even end up in there?

Ken takes the first aid bag from the the van and they all go to the toilet together. Ken says:
- I saw on Instagram that Balduin (@backpulver.1969) was doing this earlier. We’ll just wrap her in a bandage and she’ll be a nice mummy.

- Go get some mustard from the cafeteria, that’ll make her look rotten, Kaarna laughs.

While Kaarna gives Muija the finishing touch, Ken puts on his dress and says:
- That mustard smells horrible.

- Well, it’s better than the stink of the old booze, isn’t it?

Before going to Taika’s home, they all gather together for a portrait photo.

Kaarna says that if Muija can’t behave at the party, she will lose her head and never get it back.

Kaarna The Executioner guides Ken The Decapitated Queen to say hello to Taika, the gorgeous hostess of the party.

Ken is in a bit of a trouble trying to walk and talk without a head, but he tries his best.

Taika is a huge Star Wars fan and she likes the gift Ken has brought.

Taika has invited a lot of people and everybody is wearing a costume. It’s super fun to see the creativity of everybody.

Ken moves his head in his hands to see them all and at the same time he keeps Muija tightly between his legs. The uninvited guest can’t be wandering around unsupervised!

Kaarna’s brilliant idea of a decapitated queen disturbes poor Aino. She keeps asking if Ken is okay and will he ever have his head back on its place.

Ken is sorry for once again causing a traumatic experience to this sweet lady. Aino has hardly recovered from having to pee in the outdoor toilet last spring when visiting Ken and Kaarna in Melukylä!

Although Kaarna’s hood gives her a feeling of safety, she seeks nice peaceful corners in Taika’s house.

She finds a lot of interesting stuff and keeps herself entertained.

Time goes by merrily, even if Ken decides to sit on the same chair all evening. Walking around the house could be dangerous in his condition. On the other hand staying still lets all the spiders make webs around Ken’s headless body.

Unfortunately Muija manages to escape and starts to look for booze.

She leaves the party and wanders on the streets of the suburb. She finds an interesting shop. A clear idea pops in her drunken mind.

- I will get a souvenir to Reiska and a nice memento of this trip!

After visiting the souvenir shop, Muija continues her wabbly walk to a bar.

The bouncer lets her in, but takes away her own bottle.
- Even mummies has to pay for their drinks here. Go on, sweetie, have a nice evening, he says.

Muija thinks:
- Despite of his harsh looks, that man has a heart of gold. Just like my Reiska. Let’s see what do the drinks of Helsinki taste like?
Then she orders a variety of drinks and feels very very very comfy.

Meanwhile at Taika’s the folks decide to continue the party at the nearby bar. Kaarna comes to Ken and says:
- Shake off the spider webs and drop your head in the basket. I’ll walk you to the bar.
- Have you seen Muija? Ken asks and Kaarna lies that Muija is with the other guests and she’s fine. If Ken knew that the drunken idiot has left and is wandering lose somewhere in Helsinki, he would get a heart attack.

Kaarna can’t believe her luck when they arrive at the bar and Muija actually is there already! She hasn’t even passed out yet.

Ken is comfortably unaware of Muija’s adventures and mingles headlessly, getting to know new people and catching up with the old friends.

The bar is surprisingly cozy, with log walls and everything.

But as always in any bar, the atmosphere turns more and more crazy as the time passes.

Our trio decide it’s time to get going. Or at least two thirds of the trio.

Namely Muija spots an especially sexy zombie and without hesitation climbs on his lap!

Kaarna saves the poor Simon (pronounced in the French way) from being sexually harrashed by the stinking Muija. Well, Simon doesn’t smell any better himself either, Kaarna notices.

When they leave the bar, the kind doorman stops them and hands Muija’s bottle back to her.
- Good night ladies and/or gents! Hope to see you again!

It’s almost morning when they are back at home, but everybody needs to sleep. Muija has already started. Ken drags her to the living room and says to Kaarna:
- Let’s unwrap her and put her under a blanket. I will take her home tomorrow. She did quite well actually, nothing embarrasing happened!

Ken notices the tattoo on Muija’s upper thigh and says:
- Is this new? It looks like it’s just made! It definitely wasn’t here when we wrapped her in the mummy outfit… Or was it? Where did she even could’ve gotten a tattoo tonight?!
- I have no idea, maybe it was there already, we just didn’t notice it, Kaarna mumbles.

- Maybe. But look ar her… She’s such a romantic, Ken sighs smiling and covers Muija’s souvenir.
